H&P in Odessa, TX is seeking a Well Control Technician to maintain and service well control equipment, including BOPs and choke manifolds, with on-site duties across multiple locations and on-call availability for urgent field issues.
Candidates should have 1–3 years of well control or BOP/drilling rig experience, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to travel with a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or GED is required; a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

The Well Control Technician is primarily responsible for working on well control equipment, assembly/disassembly of choke manifolds, performing inspections and preventative maintenance on BOP equipment. This position is on call for any urgent field related issues.
Minimum – Maximum: $25.00 - $34.50
Minimum – Maximum: $20 - $32
