Job summary

Williamsport Area School District seeks a Welding Technology Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. The instructor will design and implement a teaching sequence to ready secondary students for welding certification tests and job readiness in the welding trades.

Preference given to candidates with PDE Welding Certification or the ability to attain it; active CWI and prior CTE teaching experience are preferred. Competitive salary and benefits.

WELDING TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCT!

The Williamsport Area School District is accepting applications for a CTE Welding Technology Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. The instructor will be responsible for developing and implementing a learning sequence that will prepare secondary students for certification testing and employability in the welding field.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with an active PDE Certification in Welding Technology/Welder OR possess the ability to attain certification. Active certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and teaching experience in a CTE environment are preferred.
