Qualifications

• Five years of welding experience required
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings for tolerances, fit, and process control
• May substitute two years experience for AA in Welding Technology or one year for a welding certificate

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions, prints, and work orders; plan details of procedures, tools and material requirements
• Fabricate equipment by cutting, burning, and welding metals; repair equipment with appropriate welding techniques
• Adhere to design specifications and welding procedure documents
• Prepare surfaces, set up, assemble, and tack weld parts
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and record on QA forms
• Participate in design reviews and identify process/ product improvements
• Document workflows; maintain clean, safe work area; comply with company policies
• May work beyond 40 hours; cross-train as needed
