Empire Cat is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to repair and rebuild structurally compromised parts using welding processes. The role requires reading blueprints, operating welding equipment, and documenting outcomes.

Willingness to travel to remote sites and work overtime is essential for client service and project schedules. Candidates must have basic education credentials, current AWS D1.1 and D14.3 certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current AWS D1.1 and D14.3 certifications.
• Must be able to read diagrams/blueprints and interpret them accurately.
• English communication skills required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair metal parts as needed.
• Operate welding equipment.
• Read and interpret sketches and diagrams.
• Prepare service reports and document work performed.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Travel to remote locations and work overtime as needed.
