Job summary

Premier Service Company, Inc. is seeking a welder helper to support a senior fabricator in our welding and fabrication shop. You will learn welding and fabrication skills while performing tasks safely and efficiently.

The role includes welding, fabricating, installing, and field repairs on wrought iron fences, and fabricating welding aluminum stands for mounting electrical cabinets. Candidates should be ready to grow with the team in a busy shop setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Clean and safe driving record is required.
• MIG Certification preferred; TIG Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist a senior fabricator in welding and fabrication shop, learning skills over time.
• Weld, fabricate, install, and perform field repairs on wrought iron fences.
• Fabricate and weld aluminum stands for mounting electrical cabinets.
• Work safely and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.

Summary of Duties

The primary role of the welder helper is to assist a senior fabricator in our welding and fabrication shop, while developing and learning skills over time, all while working safely. Welding, fabricating, installing, and doing field repairs on wrought iron fences, and fabricating and welding aluminum stands for mounting electrical cabinets is an example of the wide range of work that comes thru our shop.
