Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is hiring a Welder to perform MIG welding of component parts and assemblies to meet quality standards. You will set up welding equipment, position parts in fixtures, inspect welds, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced facility.

This 2nd shift role offers a pay rate of $26.75 per hour plus benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; 401(k) with company match; safety training and ongoing development; paid holidays and vacation time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• MIG welding experience required.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Welding certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on component parts and assemblies according to work instructions and quality standards.

• Grind, clean, and prepare welded parts as needed.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.

Summary

The Welder is responsible for MIG welding component parts and assemblies to produce finished products that meet company and customer quality standards. This role involves setting up welding equipment, positioning parts in fixtures, inspecting completed welds, and working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions

• Perform MIG welding on component parts and assemblies according to work instructions and quality standards
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for proper operation
• Position and secure parts using fixtures, clamps and jigs
