Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in NDT Technologies or 1800 hours of technical education.
• Current NDT VT Level II certification.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in welding, materials, and nondestructive testing.
• Experience with MS Office and reporting software.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Inspect welds to specified requirements for procedure and performance qualifications.
• Perform nondestructive and destructive tests including visual inspections, microscopy, hardness, tensile, and radiographic methods.
• Test and analyze a variety of welds and material types.
• Communicate and report results to stakeholders.
• Work from drawings, standards and internal specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in specifying tests and interpreting results.
• Learn and apply new techniques and support metrology activities.
