Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Welding Maintenance Tech in Exton, PA to perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding, interpret drawings, and troubleshoot issues. You will design, build, and improve fixturing and tooling to boost throughput and quality on a variety of materials.

Requires 5+ years welding experience in manufacturing, reading blueprints, and a 2-year technical degree or equivalent. AWS or similar certification preferred; experience with automated/robotic welding and CMMS is a plus.

Qualifications

5+ years MIG/TIG welding in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
AWS certification or equivalent preferred.
Experience designing/-modifying fixturing and tooling.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding Symbols.
Troubleshoot welding issues and conduct trials/tests.
Design, build, and improve fixturing/tooling for efficient manufacturing.
Evaluate fixtures to enhance throughput and quality.
Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
