Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or other 2-year technical degree with 6+ years welding experience.
• High School/GED with 2 years or 4 years related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding or Military experience.
• NNS Apprentice School graduate or NNPS graduate are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for welding equipment and process improvements.
• Provides support to welding operations to improve quality results.
• Program and maintain welding equipment; identify equipment needs and analyze weld concerns.
• Schedule and execute preventive maintenance; provide technical support and training to welders.
• Performs welding operations and recording data for quality control and compliance.
