Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking part-time, temporary lab coordinators to support welding labs. The role involves assisting instructors, conducting demonstrations, preparing equipment and materials, performing minor repairs, and maintaining the tool room.

This position is open each semester to build a pool of qualified candidates for future openings. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, at least two years of welding experience, mechanical aptitude, and good

Responsibilities

• Assisting Program Chair or Adjunct Faculty in answering questions from students regarding lab projects.
• Teaching demonstrations.
• Performing minor repairs on equipment.
• Preparing equipment and materials for labs.
• Maintaining tool room.
