Accelevation LLC in Miamisburg, Ohio invites applicants to join a Welding Intern program that teaches fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures using MIG and other welding techniques. You’ll learn to interpret blueprints and welding symbols, set up parts, and perform tasks with safety and quality in mind, under hands-on mentorship.

Qualifications

Must be actively enrolled in a relevant program through an accredited career center, vocational/tech school, high school, or community college.
Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of this internship (Fall 2026).
Good basic understanding of welding safety and operations.
Willingness to learn and ability to take feedback.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Gather required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job
Repair and fabricate various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and MIG welding techniques
Monitor the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage
Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts and surfaces to be welded
Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and the work area
Notify Team Leader when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
Perform other related duties as assigned
Perform Quality Control and assist in processing all required documentation
Perform Prep work and grinding
