Job summary

BRCC seeks an Instructor Welding to teach classes, advise students, and support the college’s mission in a full-time capacity. The role includes maintaining IBC/accreditation standards and providing substantial student engagement and advising.

The candidate should hold an AWS certification with welding experience, and be prepared for ongoing professional development, departmental service, and promotion within BRCC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Field(s) of Study: Welding.
• Certifications/Licenses Required: AWS or Other Relevant Welding Certification(s)

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned.
• Advise students and assist with registration.
• Provide office hours and maintain records.
• Participate in college service and professional development.
• Support Industry Based Certification (IBC) and accreditation requirements.
• Submit syllabi, office hours, grades, and reports by deadlines.
