Job summary

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay seeks part-time welding instructors to plan, deliver, and assess learning outcomes for the Advanced Manufacturing and Skilled Trades program. Instructors will use engaging methods, maintain student records, and advise learners inside and outside of class time.

Minimum qualifications include a Technical Diploma or Wisconsin Journey-worker certificate with five years’ direct welding experience (at least one year in the last five).

Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma or State of Wisconsin Journey-worker’s certificate plus five years direct welding experience.
  • Must have at least 1 year of occupational experience within the last five years.
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction and assessment of learning outcomes.
  • Utilize engaging instructional strategies to foster student success.
  • Maintain accurate student records and communicate with students.
  • Advise and support students as a mentor and role model in achieving learning goals.
  • Provide educational leadership and work with faculty, administration, and campus support staff.
