Job summary

Universal Technical Institute is seeking an experienced welder to join as a Welding Instructor. You will mentor students, deliver hands-on training, and help develop real-world welding skills in a supportive class setting.

We offer $34.00-$35.00 per hour, weekends off, paid training, tuition waiver after 6 months for you and your immediate family, PTO, retirement matching, parental leave, health/vision/dental, and pet insurance. This position emphasizes safety and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 5 years of practical welding work in the past 10 years.
• Technical Skills: MIG/TIG/Stick, flux-core, oxy-acetylene, plasma cutting, brazing.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and empathy: Teaching requires patience and empathy.

Responsibilities
