Job summary

Olympic College seeks an adjunct Welding instructor to teach college-level welding courses at the Bremerton and Shelton campuses. The role reports to the Dean of Business & Technology and supports the college's commitment to student success, diversity, and inclusion.

Qualifications include five years of welding experience (or supervision) and knowledge of common welding processes. Teaching experience and welding certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Five years as a welder and/or supervisor of welders.
• Experience in welding processes such as OFC, PAC-CAC-A, OAW, GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, FCAW-SS, FCAW-GS.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level welding courses in accordance with catalog and syllabi.
• Provide quality teaching including preparation and grading.
• Provide syllabi to students and division office as requested.
• Maintain accurate student records and required forms.
• Communicate promptly with students, faculty, and staff.
• Evening instruction may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
