BWX Technologies, Inc. in Barberton, OH, is seeking a Welding Engineering Intern for a 10–12 week summer program. Students will perform tasks in fabrication and engineering challenges on a nuclear environment team, learning shop floor functions and contributing to process improvements.
The internship offers paid compensation with a housing stipend for those beyond 50 miles from Barberton, and concludes with a leadership presentation of projects to BWXT leadership.

We are looking for motivated college students to join our highly-skilled team of engineers for an exciting summer internship in Barberton, Ohio.
At BWXT, our interns perform challenging tasks in their field of study while developing and delivering unique solutions for use in a nuclear environment. Our interns work collaboratively as part of our manufacturing and operational teams and will tackle various projects and tasks relating directly to fabrication and engineering challenges. Interns will be exposed to various parts of the manufacturing process that may include process and procedure creation/revisions, assisting with product and/or tooling improvements, perform testing and analysis, and assist with engineering and shop operations personnel on a daily basis. A BWXT internship not only provides valuable on the job training but allows you to be a part of something bigger!
