Universal Technical Institute is seeking an Industrial Welding Education Specialist to lead interactive labs and coach students in fundamentals and advanced welding techniques in a state-of-the-art classroom.

You will refresh curriculum to reflect current industry practices, model strict safety protocols, and provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and support to a diverse student body. A strong shop-floor background and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of professional welding experience.
• Hands-on capability with MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding.
• Experience with oxy-acetylene torch work, plasma cutting, and brazing.
• Comfort with soldering and strong communication skills.
• Patience and empathy for diverse learning styles.
