Job summary

Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC seeks Welding Instructors to teach day and evening programs, covering entry to advanced classes in Gas Metal Arc Welding - Pulse, oxyacetylene cutting, blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, and weld inspection.

Instructors will work at TTC's Thornley Campus, with day programs 7:00 am–3:30 pm and evening classes 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, teaching protocols and safety standards while guiding students toward certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Training/teaching experience required.
• Recent welding experience required.
• Must pass certification tests in each welding process taught.

Responsibilities

• Teach day and evening welding programs.
• Instruct entry-level through advanced classes in GMAW - Pulse.
• Cover oxyacetylene cutting, blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety and weld inspection.
