• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications for piping layouts.
• Commitment to safe work practices, including PPE use and OSHA standards.
• Good problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Relevant trade or vocational training in welding/pipefitting; welding certifications are a plus.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Welders–Pipe Fitters role based in Dalton, GA. The position involves installing, assembling, and repairing piping systems, including steam and other industrial lines, according to blueprints and specifications. Daily tasks include measuring, cutting, and preparing pipe, performing TIG and other welding processes, fitting and securing pipe connections, and inspecting completed work to ensure quality and safety compliance. Welders–Pipe Fitters collaborate with supervisors and crew members to plan work sequences, maintain tools and equipment, and follow all company and regulatory safety procedures. The role may require working in varied industrial environments, standing for extended periods, and lifting materials and equipment as needed.
