HI-TECH FURNACE SYSTEMS INC is seeking a skilled Welder/Pipe Fitter to join our Shelby Township, MI team. You will weld structural and pipe components, read blueprints, and ensure fabrication meets exacting standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Welder/Pipe Fitter in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of pipe fitting, layout, and assembly methods.
• Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and pipe welding using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble pipe systems and structural components to specification.
• Inspect welds and pipe fittings for quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools, grinders, and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety protocols.
