The Welder is an entry‑level role focused on learning and performing basic welding tasks under close supervision. This position is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal components using established techniques and procedures. Work is guided by instructions and pre‑established guidelines with limited independent judgment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, occasionally stoop, kneel and/or climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and maneuver up to 200 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
