Job summary

Clark Pacific is seeking a Welder Specialist in Woodland, CA to support Clark Metal Works operations. The role involves hands-on MIG and Flux Core welding, fabricating components from blueprints, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards in a union environment.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of welding experience, with MIG/Flux Core certs or willingness to obtain them. Overtime and flexible availability are required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on welding experience.
• Proficiency in MIG and Flux Core welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Welding certification in MIG and Flux Core required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong safety conscience and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Exercise professionalism and confidentiality with team members, projects, and proprietary information.
• Utilize welding knowledge essential to manufacturing operations.
• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding per drawings and work instructions.
• Read drawings/blueprints, communicate requirements, and ensure fit and finish.
• Measure, lay out, fit, and fabricate components to spec.
• Prepare, assemble, weld, grind, and fit materials as needed.
• Operate welding equipment and hand/power tools safely.
• Handle materials and equipment including forklifts and cranes.
• Lead safety practices and SOPs; complete documentation and material handling tasks.
• Maintain clean work areas and proper storage of debris and hazardous materials.
• Mentor teammates within area of expertise.
