Essential Functions

Summary: The Welder - Frame & Enclosure Fabrication position is responsible for accurately reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to build structural frames and enclosure assemblies for power generation equipment, and related industrial products. This role involves fitting, fabricating, and welding steel components to create durable, high-quality structures that meet engineering and customer specifications. The welder must ensure strict adherence to safety standards by wearing required PPE and following all safety guidelines throughout the fabrication process.

Accountabilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and positioning components for welding.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs (following OSHA standards).
• Visual and auditory ability to navigate safely and communicate effectively.
