Job summary

RANDALL is a leading self-performing subcontractor in Florida with a 35+ year track record. We are seeking Welders/Pipe Fitters to work on long-term projects across Central Florida and the Space Coast, welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipes and ensuring quality per specifications.

Strong English communication and safety mindset required. Candidates should have 5+ years of welding experience, relevant certifications preferred, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum 5+ years welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.
• Welding certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational pipe welding training.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fit carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes to specifications.
• Examine work for defects and ensure conformance with specs.
• Fit and weld pipes for plumbing and mechanical applications.

Randall Mechanical is currently seeking top-tier Welder / Pipefitters to work on a long-term, large projects across Central Florida and the Space Coast. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.

Position Summary

The Welders/Pipe Fitters will be responsible for welding and fitting CARBON STEEL AND STAINLESS-STEEL pipes to specifications, examining work product for defects, and ensuring conformance with specifications.

Essential Functions

Fit and Weld carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes for plumbing/mechanical applications.

Desired Qualification Requirements

• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
• 5+ years of experience in welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe
• Welding certifications preferred
• Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in pipe welding
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
• Working knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010/7018) welding
• Working knowledge of gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually)
• Excellent knowledge of Fitting configurations adhering to ASME B31.1 Piping
• Preferred knowledge of examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of piping systems found in industrial, institutional, and general heating and cooling systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Effective English or Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication skills are a must have
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to achieve quality objectives and project success.
• Safety: Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
