Job summary

ProFrac in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled welder to join our fabrication team. You will use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, following safety procedures.

The position requires the ability to read and write English, strong work ethic, and the capacity to work 40–60 hours per week with overtime. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with at least one year of related experience or vocational training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Prefer 1 year of welding work experience or vocational training.

Responsibilities

• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind and bolt parts to required configurations.
• Inspect work pieces and measure conformance to specifications.
