Job summary

TMD Staffing is hiring Combo Welders (Pipe/Signage Frames) in San Antonio, TX. In-person shop role with travel to sign set up sites as needed. Requires experience with Mig, Tig, Mag and Stick welding and the ability to pass a welding test.

Weld on pipe and aluminum structures using GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, SMAW/STICK, and FCAW; work 40+ hours with potential overtime and weekends; 18–21 USD per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years welding experience.
• Must be able to pass welding test.
• Read WPS to know heat, speed and electrical input.
• Willing to work out of town.
• 40+ hour weeks; overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Weld on pipe and aluminum structures.
• Perform GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG/MAG), SMAW (STICK), FCAW.
• Pass 6G test and weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
• Follow engineering specs for process piping, equipment, and structural steel.
