Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure is seeking a Welder to join our Nevada-based fabrication team. You will apply welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair metal parts per work orders and drawings.

You’ll report to the Production Supervisor and collaborate with a small team of operators and welders. The ideal candidate has hands-on welding experience, reads production drawings, and maintains high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

The Welder is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. This role applies appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair metal parts and assemblies, as specified by work orders or production drawings.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll primarily work with a small team of machine operators and welders.

A Highlight Of Your Day-to-day Will Include

• Fabricating metal parts and assemblies by cutting, burning, and welding various metals using welding machines, oxyacetylene torches, plasma cutters, and hand and power tools.
• Operating cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment when certified.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure conformance to specifications, including dimensional accuracy, squareness, and weld requirements.
• Performing first-part approvals on new tasks to ensure quality standards are met.
