Job summary

American Surplus is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Rumford, ME. You will align, fit, and weld components to create units, following blueprints and layout specifications. You will use jigs, hand tools, welding torches, MIG and stick welding to work with heavy steel.

Forklift experience is required, and you must stay safety-conscious while packaging products and performing heavy lifting. A valid driver’s license is also essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and layout specifications.
• Ability to weld and fabricate parts to form complete units.
• Experience with MIG and stick welding.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials.
• Valid driver’s license.
