Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Welder I to join Hadady, LLC, a Caterpillar subsidiary. The role involves operating MIG welding machines, inspecting welds, and supporting fabrication with robotic and manual welding processes.

Welding experience, teamwork, and strong communication are essential. The position includes on-site work with multiple shifts; relocation is not offered; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive operations.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic and manual MIG weld machines to perform welding tasks.
• Inspect own work using gauges and measuring tools.
• Repair defective welds using carbon air arc process and grinders.
• Clear common faults in robotic welding systems.
• Move components over 35 lbs. and position heavy parts in weld fixtures.
• Conduct routine maintenance like wire changes and tip/nozzle replacements.
• Follow procedures, routings, and blueprints to ensure safe, defect-free operations.
• Conduct process and final inspections to ensure quality standards.
