Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows, a unit of Senior plc, is hiring for a manufacturing role in Sharon, MA. The successful candidate will read drawings, set up equipment, and maintain quality and productivity while making small tool adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with precision instruments, applying SPC methods, and performing basic labor transactions on a computer. Prior manufacturing or quality experience is welcomed but training is available.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or quality preferred, but not necessary — we''ll train you!

Job Description

• Work from drawings and other documented work instructions.
• Make standard set-ups and maintain operating conditions as prescribed, submitting questionable settings to appropriate supervisor or technical leader.
• Maintain required quality and productivity levels, making minor machine and tooling adjustments to comply with requirements.
• Inspect parts using basic measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and leak check equipment. Visually inspect parts for weld integrity; and when required, forward parts for dimensional correctness inspection.
• Ensure quality requirements are maintained using quantitative charting techniques, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions.

Hourly Rate Range: $ 22.00 - $24.00 per hour. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
