Job summary

REV Group is seeking a welder to join our team in Nebraska. You will perform MIG and TIG welding, read blueprints, and set up welding equipment to fabricate aluminum and stainless steel parts. The role emphasizes precise measurements, safety, and teamwork within a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have up to 1 year of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read plans and perform shop math. Excellent communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must read blueprints, engineering drawings and perform shop math to layout, fabricate, and weld parts and assemblies.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform all GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding procedures including machine settings and necessary fittings.
• Welding Aluminum and set up and maintaining welding machine and consumables.
• Inspect welds for cracks, burn-through, and weld spatter.
• Welding of aluminum and stainless steel where required.
• Grind and clean areas as needed.
• Stay current in TPM and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed.
• Follow hazardous waste disposal program and fire prevention procedures.
