Siemens Mobility in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Fitter/Welder I to support fabrication of stainless-steel rail car bodies. You will weld, fit, tack and assemble subassemblies using drawings, jigs and fixtures and advanced welding equipment.
You must have 3–5 years MIG welding experience (stainless steel), a high school diploma or GED, and completion of an accredited weld education program. Basic English and safety-consciousness are required.

As a Fitter/Welder I, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, high energy production environment in the fabrication of stainless-steel car bodies for the best rail vehicles in the world.

This position is located in Sacramento, CA. The starting hourly rate is $23.01 plus there is a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift and 20% shift differential for 3rd shift. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
