Coastline Power Solutions in Deland, FL is seeking a Welder Fabricator I for our in-person facility. You will be part of a team, multi-task, and deliver high-quality welds following drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include reading engineering plans, operating welding equipment, inspecting welds, and maintaining a safe work area. Overtime may be required; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

Position Title: Welder Fabricator I

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Location: Deland, FL (In-Person)

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Day/Evening Shifts (8 hours), M-F

Brief Description: We are looking for a welder-fabricator to work in a manufacturing setting at our Deland, FL location. Needed is a dependable individual who can multi-task with exceptional communication skills. This individual will need to be a team player. If you are a detail-oriented self-starter who can take initiative and prioritize and you have the required skill set and knowledge we want you!

Coastline Power Solutions is an industry-leading specialty power systems integrator that services the power generation industry. Located in DeLand, Florida, we engineer and manufacture customized generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and trailers, as well as provide a full suite of other related products and services, including bi-fuel systems, Mitsubishi engines and parts, and more. We also integrate and facilitate the testing of all customer-supplied and third-party equipment, which enables us to offer convenient turnkey solution options. Our engineered products are installed in critical applications throughout the United States and internationally, serving government agencies, the military, police and fire departments, hospitals, assisted living facilities, schools, data centers, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations, as needed, to manufacture projects to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Welding or joining metal and other materials by applying appropriate techniques.
• Following engineering plans, drawings, and instructions.
• Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment.
• Inspecting and testing welds.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work area and tools.
• Various other duties as required, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1+ year minimum welding experience in a similar field.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications, and to perform work there from or from other written or verbal instruction.
  
• May be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards.
• Must pass a drug test.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, math, and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and highly motivated.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Ability to work overtime on occasion.
• Possess appropriate tools to perform job duties.

Physical Requirements:

• May frequently lift or move heavy-weight material and work in difficult positions.
• Frequent mental and visual attention on an intermittent basis.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, push and pull, and work at heights, and in small tight spaces.
• Requires working under somewhat disagreeable conditions frequently where elements such as dust, dirt, heat, fumes, cold, vibration, noise, water, or chemicals may be present.
