Job summary

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders/Fabricators for projects in Liberty, NC. This is a first shift opportunity with pay rate of $25/hour based on experience and skill.

You'll weld and fabricate parts using MIG and Stick processes, read blueprints, and work across fabrication teams to maintain quality and safety in a fast-paced environment. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of MIG welding, Stick welding, and fabrication experience
• Proficient reading blueprints, schematics, drawings, and work instructions
• Ability to use measuring and layout tools (tape measures, squares, calipers, levels, plumb bobs, clamps)
• Strong math skills including fractions and decimals to 1/16 inch
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and PPE usage
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work from ladders/trailers

Responsibilities

• Hand weld and fabricate parts using MIG and Stick welding processes
• Read and interpret orders, blueprints, schematics, and work tickets
• Assemble, fit, and weld components to specifications
• Use angle grinders and acetylene torches
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, and pallet jacks as needed
• Cross-train in multiple departments to support flexibility

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders/Fabricators for projects located in or around Liberty, NC. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Hand weld and fabricate parts using MIG and Stick welding processes
• Work within fabrication, sub-assembly, and welding departments as needed
• Read and interpret factory orders, blueprints, schematics, and work tickets
• Assemble, fit, and weld components according to specifications
• Use angle grinders, acetylene torches, and other fabrication tools
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform routine welder maintenance, including wire changes and tip/nozzle replacement
• Operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, and pallet jacks to move materials and components
• Cross-train in multiple departments to support operational flexibility
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of MIG welding, Stick welding, and fabrication experience
• Strong experience using angle grinders and acetylene torches
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and work instructions
• Proficiency using measuring and layout tools, including:
  • Tape Measures
  • Squares
  • Calipers
  • Levels
  • Plumb Bobs
  • Clamps
• Strong math skills, including the ability to work with fractions and decimals to 1/16"
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and proper PPE usage

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in heated facilities and varying temperatures
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, climbing, and lifting for up to 10-hour shifts
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from ladders and trailers as needed
• Ability to operate vibrating equipment
