Job summary

Structureworks in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an experienced Welder/Metal Fabricator to join a fast-paced production team. You will fabricate components for outdoor structures, operating MIG and TIG welding in an aluminum-focused shop.

The role offers full-time, permanent employment with a Monday–Friday 7:30AM–3:30PM schedule, and compensation ranging from $19 to $25 per hour based on experience. Minimum two years of MIG/TIG welding experience is required.

Qualifications

• Two years MIG & TIG welding experience.
• Proficient in tooling setup & general aluminum fabrication.
• Able to read and interpret complex shop drawings.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cut, form, and fabricate using shear, miter saw, drill press, and band saw.
• Log production progress and material usage.
• Maintain an organized work center.
• General material handling and other duties as needed.

Structureworks sells pergolas and outdoor structures that are designed and manufactured at our Fredericksburg, VA factory. This position works in a fabrication role, producing components for our structures. You will be working with a team of hard-working fabricators to make the highest-quality outdoor structures in North America.
