Job summary

Waste Pro USA in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a skilled welder to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment parts, vehicles, and roll-off containers. The role involves welding steel and aluminum components using MIG and arc welding processes, fabricating parts for trucks and containers, and painting repaired or new containers.

The welder will also bend and cut metal with a break, plasma cutter, or torch, install lids and wheels, maintain a clean and safe shop, and complete required paperwork.

Qualifications

• Proficient in welding steel and aluminum components.
• Experience with MIG and arc welding processes.
• Able to fabricate steel components for trucks and containers.
• Skill in painting repaired or new containers.
• Adherence to safety policies and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on front and rear load, and roll-off containers.
• Cuts/welds repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, fabrication.
• Welds steel and aluminum components using MIG gun and arc welding equipment.
• Bends steel components using a break and shear.
• Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
• Fabricates steel components on trucks and containers.
• Installs lids and wheels on containers.
• Paints repaired and/or new containers.
• Keeps shop clean and safe daily; handles waste and debris.
• Completes required paperwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on front and rear load, and roll-off containers. Cuts/welds repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, fabrication.
• Welds steel and aluminum components using MIG gun and arc welding equipment.
• Bends steel components using a break ad shear.
• Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
• Fabricates steel components on trucks and containers.
• Installs lids and wheels on containers.
• Paints repaired and/or new containers.
• Sweeps up the container shop welding debris, grease, working environment, takes out the garbage and ensure that the shop is keep clean and safe on a daily basis.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Completes required paperwork.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
