Job summary

The Entwistle Company in Danville, VA is seeking a skilled Welder C to join our defense-focused fabrication team. You will set up and perform MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding to tight MIL-Standard quality, read blueprints, and verify weld integrity on mission-critical components.

A team-oriented, safety-conscious craftsman with at least one year of GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW experience will thrive here, with opportunities for certified training and career growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding.
• Ability to read work instructions for setup requirements.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to pass required certifications as needed.
• Good interpersonal skills for team work; able to work independently.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and complete MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding in assembly of parts to MIL-Standard Quality.
• Regulate gas, current, voltage, and electrodes to perform arc welding.
• Regulate pressure, flow, and tips to perform gas welding.
• Inspect welds using measuring equipment and weld gauges.
• Maintain production logs and required records.
• Assist colleagues as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
