Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:45 PM

Looking for Welder and Fabricator jobs in Carol Stream where your welding skills help build quality products? Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience performing MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals.
  • Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Knowledge of welding equipment setup, welding techniques, and safe operating procedures.
  • Ability to accurately measure, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
  • 1–5+ years of welding experience (varies by role)
  • Proficiency in one or more welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred.

  • Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate craftsmanship, dependability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Welder/Fabricator.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
