Job summary

Honeywell INC. is seeking an Advanced Welder (Level 3) for our Shreveport, LA facility. You will perform high-precision welding, fabrication, and pipefitting to support manufacturing goals.

You will work on-site, report to the Welding Supervisor, and operate MIG, TIG and stick welding with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years in heavy industrial/manufacturing welding and pipefitting.
• 1 year heavy manufacturing welding with technical welding certification.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced welding using MIG, TIG and stick.

Job Description

As a Welder Advanced Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in performing advanced welding tasks that require a high degree of skill and precision. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components and structures, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

You will report directly to our Welding Supervisor and you'll work out of our Shreveport, LA location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products by delivering expert welding craftsmanship that supports our manufacturing and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Day shift but most be open to work all shifts as needed
• Perform advanced welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including welding machines, torches, and other hand tools
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Qualified welder with experience in 4+ welding procedures.
• Skilled Journeyman Welder/Pipefitter.
• Proficient in pipefitting, welding, and fabrication.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoots and repairs piping systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and results-driven.
• Delivers high-quality workmanship and meets project deadlines.

Must Have

• 5 years in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment performing welding and pipefitting tasks or 1 year heavy manufacturing welding experience with technical welding certification.
