Job summary

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit and weld materials using blueprints and standards.
• Maintain accurate records for production orders and data collection.
• Maintain welding equipment and do preventative maintenance.
• Manage stock, pull items for orders, and assist other departments as needed.
• Identify safety risks and pursue process improvements.

Monday - Thursday 3:15pm-1:45am (Overtime offered for Friday work)

$23-25 an hour Worthington

Job Profile Summary:

• Layout, fit and weld materials using support tools such as production orders, standard work, blueprints and other documents related to the Engineering/Customer specification.
• Maintain accurate records such as production orders, data collection, and Total
• Preventative Maintenance sheets.
• Maintenance all welding equipment used in the department.
• Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer orders.
• Perform daily activities safely and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Actively participate in facility 5S and Learn initiatives.
• Safely operate fork trucks and cranes.
• Maintain quality throughout the weld process.

Recommended Aptitudes:

• Layout, fit and weld materials using support tools such as production orders, standard work, blueprints and other documents related to the Engineering/Customer specification.
• Maintain accurate records such as production orders, data collection, and Total Preventative Maintenance sheets.
• Maintenance all welding equipment used in the department.

Experience Required:

• MIG, flux core, & submersed arc welding.
• Cutting torches, grinders, sanders & cutting wheels.
• Operating Forklifts and overhead cranes strongly preferred.
• Working in a fast paced team oriented environment.
