Qualifications

  • 1+ year of robotic welding experience required.

We are Systems, LLC, a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.

Associate II, Welder Overview:

  1. Weld and assemble different pieces using handheld welding equipment such as hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures; utilize different materials (plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing).
  2. Prepare and complete work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal.
  3. Test and inspect welded components to ensure they meet specifications before moving to the next department.
  4. Work from different specifications and shop orders.
  5. Utilize ruler, square, templates, and gauges to take and read measurements.
  6. Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables.
  7. Report damages on machines and equipment; maintain equipment in a safe condition.
  8. Report all unsafe conditions to management.
  9. Monitor/control the robotic welding process.
  10. Operate robotic welding equipment to perform welding tasks.
  11. Perform visual inspection of weld quality.
  12. Program robotic welding systems.
  13. Provide work reports/feedback to supervisors or engineering teams.
  14. Set up/prepare robotic welding equipment for operation.
  15. Troubleshoot/resolve potential technical issues.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  17. Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules.
  18. Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  19. Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, reading, networking, and participating in societies.
  20. Contribute to team efforts and participate in projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • No minimum education required.
  • 1+ year of robotic welding experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of MIG welding, handheld plasma machines, and cutting torches.
  • Basic knowledge of welding techniques and material characteristics.
  • Preferred: Recognized robotic welding certification, experience with solid core wires, argon/oxygen gases, and MIG welding of structural steel and plates, 3-5 years experience in robotic welding environment.
