Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Forest Park, GA is seeking a Welder to join our fabrication team. This onsite, full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm, with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities include MIG welding on galvanized steel, reading blueprints, fabricating and assembling components, operating grinders, drills, saws and other tools, inspecting welds and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years welding experience preferred.
• Experience manufacturing HVAC rooftop curbs, sheet metal products, or structural steel components.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must wear PPE including welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe footwear.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on galvanized steel, carbon steel, and sheet metal components used in curb unit production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders and fabrication drawings.
• Fabricate, fit, align, and assemble steel components according to specifications.
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, drills, saws and other fabrication tools safely.
• Inspect welded assemblies for dimensional accuracy and weld quality.
