Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Welding certification requirements to be completed.
• Experience operating welding or plasma equipment preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and basic fabrication drawings.
• Basic math skills and tape measure reading required.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated welding and plasma equipment to weld outlets onto pipe per specs.
• Perform manual rewelds with handheld welding equipment as needed.
• Load, position, and unload pipe from welding equipment with proper handling techniques.
• Inspect welded assemblies for quality and code compliance.
• Apply certification stamps to completed welds using designated tools.
• Prepare finished pipe for shipping and staging.
