Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Welder I to assemble parts, read blueprints, and perform welding and related operations on sheet metal. You will drill, grind, and weld while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience.
• Ability to obtain a Welding certificate with Pierce Manufacturing.
• Associates Degree in Welding or Certified Welder preferred.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up parts for welding and the welding process.
• Weld sheet metal and read blueprints/schematic diagrams.
• Operate hand and power tools to grind, drill, cut, and assemble parts.

The employee sets up various parts for the welding process such as drilling, grinding, and welding. The employee must be able to weld sheet metal. The employee must be able to read blue prints and schematic diagrams.
