Job summary

Award Staffing in Rogers, MN seeks a Welder to join the manufacturing team on the 1st shift. You will weld aluminum and stainless steel using MIG and TIG, read blueprints, and work with calipers and squares to ensure precise fabrication.

This temp-to-hire role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, standing for long periods, and using Word and Excel for reporting. You must supply your own hand tools (protractor, square, dial caliper, tape measure, scribe, dead blow hammer).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience welding aluminum and stainless steel.
• Experience MIG and TIG welding.
• Sheet metal industry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Stand for long durations.
• Use Word and Excel.
• Must supply own hand tools: Protractor, Square, Dial Caliper, Tape Measure, Scribe, Dead Blow Hammer.

About the Opportunity

• Job Title: Welder
• Pay Rate Range: $23.00-$30.00/hour
• Location: Rogers, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience welding aluminum and stainless steel.
• Previous experience with both MIG and TIG welding a must.
• Previous sheet metal industry experience.
• Ability to accurately work with calipers, squares, protractors, and other measuring tools.
• Must be fluent in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75 pounds.
• Standing for long durations of time.
• Use Word and Excel majority.
• Must supply own hand tools as follows: Protractor, Square, Dial Caliper, Tape Measure, Scribe, and Dead Blow Hammer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize Mig and Tig welders to weld aluminum and stainless steel.
• Ensuring compliance with company safety and quality standards.
• Assisting in the assembly of parts.
