Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking a Welder on 1st and 2nd shifts in Boyne City, MI. Starting pay is $21.51 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and overtime per labor agreement.

The ideal candidate will set up and operate MIG or Heli-arc welders, read drawings, and produce welded assemblies according to specifications. Excellent shop communication and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• 6–12 months welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate MIG or heli-arc welding to join parts per specs.
• Position parts using jigs and gauges to meet dimensional tolerances.
• Weld metal components and inspect welds for proper fusion and strength.
• Follow drawings, templates, and welding instructions to complete tasks.
• Maintain equipment such as electrodes; ensure proper current and timing.
