Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment’s Busch Gardens Williamsburg is seeking a Full-Time Welder to join our maintenance team and support park operations with arc and gas welding, metal cutting, and repairs across the site.

The role requires 5+ years of welding experience, 4G/6G pipe certifications, and the ability to work at heights up to 385 ft. Competitive hourly pay is offered along with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable working in a man lift.
• Trade school or equivalent military welding experience.
• Minimum five years of experience with torches, flame welding, inert gas welding, electric arc welding with “4G” 3/8 plate and “6G” pipe certification required.
• Have a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Be comfortable working at heights up to 385 ft.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Able to climb and work off ladders.
• Able to train on and properly use protective gear.
• Comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations.
• Comfortable handling chemicals with training (grease, oil, etc.).
• Comfortable working around fumes, dust, or odor.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes.
• Able to work indoors/outdoors with or without A/C for the entire shift.

Compensation

23.00 USD per hour.
