Job summary

Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc. in Titusville, FL is seeking a commercial service Pipefitter Welder to join our field team. The role focuses on installing and aligning piping systems, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety on projects.

You will lead and train apprentice pipefitters, work overtime or weekends as needed, and coordinate with supervisors to meet production goals. A valid Florida Journeyman license is preferred, and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) to five (5) years of commercial piping experience.
• Able to read 3D plans and drawings.
• Capable of climbing and balancing on ladders and standing or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass regular drug testing and background checks.
• Florida State Journeyman license preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and lay out piping elevations.
• Install and work with all piping materials used in the trade.
• Lead and teach apprentice pipefitters, ensuring safety per company guidelines.

Requirements And Experience

• Applicants must be U.S. citizens or Permanent Residence due to government contract projects.
• Must be able to read blueprints and have a basic understanding of the piping systems
• Ability to manage time and production effectively following directions from the supervisors
• Must have the ability to install and work with all the different piping and materials used in the trade
• Lead and teach apprentice pipefitters ensuring they are working safely within the company guidelines and policies.
• Skilled in the use of hands and tools used in the piping trade
• Establish elevation and layout piping
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as needed

Qualifications

• The qualified candidate will have three (3) to five (5) years of commercial piping experience
• To perform this job successfully, qualified applicants must be able to understand 3D plans and drawings
• Must be able to climb and balance on ladders, stand/ or sit for long periods at a time, must not have fear of heights, among others
• Must be able to pass regular drug testing and be open to background checks
• Florida State Journeyman license preferred but not required
