Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, headquartered in Salina, KS, is seeking a 1st Shift Welder for our Construction Equipment facility in Salina. The role involves welding in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions and operating welding robots, with adherence to safety and quality standards.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as required. You must be able to lift heavy parts and pass weld tests as part of the qualification process.

CE1 Overhead Full Time Manual Labor Salina, KS, US

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Welder to join our growing team at our Construction Equipment (CE) facility in Salina, KS.

This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays, as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
• Operation of various welding robots.
• Able to lift heavy parts throughout the shift.
• Clean, repair and examine welds as needed.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the shift.
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required.
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
