CF&I Steel, L.P. in Pueblo, Colorado is seeking a Welder to join the Maintenance team. The role involves reading prints, planning work, moving materials, and operating fabrication equipment in a safe environment.

The successful candidate will have welding experience, an associate degree or apprenticeship, a Colorado driver’s license, and strong teamwork and communication skills. OSHA 10 certification and equipment qualifications are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in welding or completion of a welding apprenticeship.
• Minimum 1 year fabrication/welding experience; structural experience preferred.
• Colorado driver’s license required.
• Ability to read prints, plan work, and take precise measurements.
• Must be self-motivated with good time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read prints, plan work, procedures and techniques.
• Obtain and move materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate all equipment needed to complete the job.
• Direct others in conditioning and preparation.
• Observe lockout procedures and safety rules.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist maintenance personnel.
• Obtain OSHA 10 and equipment certifications as required.
